Fiberoptics have been used for decades in the aid of cleaning and examining small scale fuel tanks, small and large engines, examining cylinder and valvetrain conditions and more. We now have the ability to clean underground (UST) and some above ground (AST) Fuel Storage Tanks using the state of the art boroscope system. This virtually eliminates the need for dangerous and very expensive manned entry cleanings.


Visual tank cleaning allows the technician to view contamination in the tank bottom and remove it on-demand. Once we locate the phase separation, water, sludge, bacteria (bugs) we remove and confirm that the tank bottom is free of contamination. We also have the ability to capture and send images directly to our customers computer network or email straight from the site! Our system uses a controllable vacuum suction which allows us to speed up or slow down suction as not to stir up the tank and leave contaminant suspended in the fuel. We have the ability to filter down to .5 micron per our customers request.

Unlike other system's on the market our entire system maintains continuity to ground for static discharge. We use ONLY commercial grade equipment specifically designed for use in petroleum. Beware of homemade systems as they can be a great liability. Our technicians are trained and meet or exceed safety requirements.

In some cases algae and sludge have the ability to grow up the sidewalls and on the upper portion of the tank. For such cases a Rotary Impingement cleaning which pressure washes the inner walls of the tank must be used.

In addition to the Rotary Impingement we offer multiple types of Chemical Additives which are proven to kill this sludge causing bacteria. We are introducing a brand new additive to our line which turns water into a burnable product. No tank owner should be without it!

Clean Fuel Technologies also has the ability to analyze fuel. Either our technicians can take a sample or the customer can provide one. We then have the ability to test the sample for:
